Brodhead Airport and EAA Chapter 431 mourns the loss of longtime member and director, Ron Steponkus. Anyone attending a fly-in event at Brodhead Airport will recognize Ron and his wife Barb selling meal tickets, working in the kitchen, or any number of other areas to make sure our events go off smoothly. Ron was a licensed pilot and actively building a kitplane, that is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday.
